Global Cold Chain News: Eutectic innovations from BoTemp

BoTemp has two additions to its eutectic vehicle refrigeration range offering shorter charging times and variable temperatures. The Cold Battery system uses chilled air forced into the cargo area to give a wide controllable temperature range from -18ºC today to +4ºC.
BoTemp also has a stationary application of the cold battery for cold stores and office buildings. This application stores the cold generated via sustainable energy sources like wind or solar panels.

The second innovation, the Cold Charger, is a remote charging system. In traditional applications the cold generating system is carried on board the vehicle or container, which costs valuable load capacity.
